‘Over the last four months, we’ve all had to adapt our practice at the Spire Manchester Hospital in order to continue to maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff and patients.
This hasn’t been easy and we’ve had to overcome many challenges.
None more so than the Housekeeping team, who have continued their tremendous work throughout the hospital.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have maintained high levels of cleanliness which has helped to keep Spire Manchester safe. They have done this by implementing robust procedures, training staff and management of key touch points.
Throughout they have continuously improved and built on their CAP (Continuous Advancement Programme – Housekeeping and Catering) GOLD standard, awarded last September.
A massive thank you to the Housekeeping team for all of their hard work and for continuing to keep us safe at work’ – Hopelyn McIntosh – Infection Prevention and Control Lead
